A hyper-sensory performance developed for creative studio, Maison the Faux. It explores the sensory relationship between performance, food, design and fashion. The performance takes you on a journey which explores the thematic tensions of nature versus synthesis, individual versus matter, fertile versus dead, and the desirability of abundance. The sensory experience design during the residency with Studio Katja Gruijters looked at food that wasn’t functional or an afterthought, but an indispensable part of the show. The project was constantly evolved while experimenting with the food alongside performers, designers and chef.
